Walking Tour: A Creek Runs Through It

Sunday August 2nd at 1pm

Starts from Burlingame Ave. Train Station

The tour will discuss how the Burlingame Creek once wreaked havoc on the downtown area, the new Town Square, Mummy’s Cave and the site of the Anza expedition camp.  The tour will be approximately ½ mile on flat ground with limited shade. Meet at the Burlingame Avenue Railroad Station (290 California Drive) at 1 pm on August 2 for a walk through downtown Burlingame to El Camino Real. Presented in conjunction with the San Mateo County Historical Association’s Victorian Days.

Bring a hat and water.
